Congressman Pete King Obtains Humanitarian Visa For Brentwood Family To Care For Child After Mother's Murder

Apr 23, 2014

Massapequa Park, NY – Congressman Pete King (R-Seaford) worked with the Villagra family to obtain humanitarian visas from the U.S. Embassy in Nicaragua for the mother and sister of Karla Villagra Garzon (who disappeared on February 23, 2014) to care for Karla’s two-year old daughter Valentina.

Unfortunately, after an extensive search, Karla’s body was found in a town near Elizabeth, NJ and her husband was charged with the murder.

Valentina is currently staying with Karla's cousins Jose and Maria Saez at their home in Brentwood.
