Congressman Pete King recently participated in a moving ceremony renaming the Brentwood Post Office for Army Specialist Jose Ruiz. SPC. Ruiz, a graduate of Brentwood High School, was killed in a firefight in Mosul, Iraq on August 15, 2005. Congressman King, who proudly sponsored the legislation for the renaming, presented a copy of the law to Spec Ruiz’s outstanding parents.
